Yvonne Ontiveros, LICSW — therapist at Little Moments Therapy, smiling outdoors against a backdrop of Seattle greenery Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Hi, I'm Yvonne.

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Seattle, and I specialize in two things that are deeply connected: helping children feel understood, and helping parents feel less alone.

I work with children using play as the primary therapeutic language. Kids don't need to have words for what they're carrying — play gives them a natural way to express, process, and heal. My role is to follow their lead, build trust, and create a space where they can be exactly themselves.

I also work with adults navigating the emotional terrain of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. These are some of the most transformative — and sometimes most disorienting — experiences a person can go through. Whether you're managing perinatal anxiety, processing a difficult birth, or simply feeling like you've lost track of yourself, I want to offer support that's honest, evidence-based, and genuinely human.

My approach draws on Child-Centered Play Therapy, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Sessions are collaborative, unhurried, and tailored to each child and family. I see clients in-office in Seattle and via telehealth throughout Washington State.

I'm glad you're here.
